Sharing some wisdom

Pulling the plug

Gisele Gambi
July 2010

Everything on the outside is a reflection of the inside.  When you shift the inside, the outside changes.
The transformative effect of the previous premise blows me away every time.  New personal relationships form, the perfect client shows up, money starts to flow, a non- turn-backable purpose and vision opens up, challenges dissolve, more intimacy and connection is experienced – all because you had the humility and courage to pull the energetic plug in you that kept things unmovable. ...read more

What really is courageous action?

Gisele Gambi
July 2010

A question came to mind the other day – what really is courageous action?  I had always distinguished inspired action as being action that comes easily because it is an expression of who you really are.  What I believed courageous action to be on the other hand, is when you felt fear, stress and resistance and despite those feelings, you still took action.  You know that common saying ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’?  That’s what I always thought courageous action was. ...read more

Resistant Leadership and the Seduction

Gisele Gambi
April 2010

When something is really, really important to us, whether that is having a wonderful relationship, a meaningful and authentic career, launching a new business idea, sharing our creative talents with the world, becoming a parent, we often play the game of Resistant Leadership.  As I am an expert in this game, I can tell you that there are five rules! ... read more

A conscious leader leads with no agenda and no attachment Gisele Gambi
July 2009

Creating with no agenda and no attachment to anything having to happen is a very different way of living and leading. We're taught and encouraged to decide that if we'd like X, then we need to strategise and plan what we must do get it - A, B and C. A, B and C then have an agenda. You become attached to X having to happen. When you're attached, you either get X through hard work, anxiety and stress or you don't get X at all and you're left feeling disappointed, frustrated and powerless ... read more

Conscious Leadership

Gisele Gambi

April 2009

This article is not about sharing with you behaviours and skills, models and techniques that great leaders have applied in their world. Rather, the purpose of this is to invite you to uncover, discover and explore your own authentic, powerful and purposeful leadership. Whilst we can certainly learn and be inspired from esteemed leaders and teachers, no one can truly know what goes on for you in your current and potential experience of leadership and therefore can’t ‘tell’ you how to be the fullest leader possible. Whilst others can facilitate you to that understanding, that information and potential learning is found only in YOU. For that reason, I’d like to talk to you about the idea of Conscious Leadership and that can only come about by practising Self Leadership ... read more

Security ... is there any cheese up that tunnel?

David Walker
November 2008

In the world we live in today, now more than ever it is necessary for us to learn how we work, how we operate. In our humanness we are searching for certainty and therefore security. To make ourselves feel better and to avoid the pain and discomfort found in turmoil and change.

When we sit back (if we do give ourselves the opportunity to do so) we very quickly can realise that nothing is certain, everything changes, there is always a beginning and an ending. Life flows, seasons change and of course all living things have a life span and then expire. In the same way, stock markets rise and they fall, businesses have their peak years and their low points. Countries and civilisations are not immune to this either, just look at Rome or even more currently dare I say the US. Our thoughts and feelings are also ever changing. No matter how much stress and pain we may be experiencing, we will all be able to remember a time of happiness and carefree- it’s the law of nature.

So why do we forget this?

What happens when we do forget?

What can we do to remember this so we can return to a sate of clarity and peace? ... read more
