A new leadership experience

Changes on the outside happen because of changes on the inside.

Business doesn’t need to be hard.  Conflict, disagreement, struggle, disappointment, worry and lack don’t need to be the norm.

  • The results and quality of experience that the leader creates is directly linked to their level of self-awareness.  The more unconscious the leader is, the more struggle and disappointment are experienced. The more conscious the leader is, the higher the attraction factor, both internally in relation to fulfillment and personal expansion and externally in relation to ideal clients and employees who ‘fit’ their business, inspired and intuitive products and services and rewarding financial results.  The more conscious the leader is, the more meaningful and purposeful their life feels.
  • Everything on the outside is a reflection of the internal dynamics of the leader.  That means that your relationships with employees and clients, your business culture, your successes and failures, challenges and blocks, your position in the market, how easily you secure new clients not to mention the quality of client and your financial rewards mirror what is going on inside of you.
For a typical leader, 90% of their leadership is directed from unconsciousness.
  • Most people believe that it is what they DO that determines their experience. That’s why we are such an action-based society.  Most people believe that if they change what they do, try new tactics or even change jobs or business, then they will get a different result.  Only changing what you DO doesn’t work.
  • It is who you are ENERGETICALLY BEING that directly creates your experience and results.  The term ‘ENERGY’ is not ‘woo-woo’.  It just means that your unconscious and conscious thoughts and feelings about self, others and the world act as the fuel that drives your decisions and determines your reality.
Here’s an example

Imagine two sales people selling the same product using the same script with the same client.  Sales Person A wins the job and Sales Person B doesn’t.  All the tangible variables are the same (the product, the client, the script) so what makes the client say yes to Person A and no to Person B?  Their ENERGY.  Imagine Person A having a real sense of herself.  She is present, likes herself and what she does, believes in her product and loves talking with clients.  Imagine Person B having self-doubt.  He is anxious, not sure of himself, feels awkward and holds on to the script as his saviour.  Whether the client consciously knows this or not, he feels both energies and responds to the energy that’s attractive.  It is who you are being and not what you are doing that determines your reality.
  • Real sustainable change occurs at an energetic level.   No matter how many courses you do to increase your skills and knowledge or 'formulas to success' you follow, your reality will not change unless you shift your energy.  Your energy shifts when you become conscious.   The transformation that occurs on the inside creates a transformation in your external reality.  As you change, the people around you change and challenging circumstances and blocks dissolve.   This shift opens up new vision and purpose, great clients and employees, fulfilling work, synergy and co-creative relationships, jobs and projects.

If you want to get serious about change and no longer accept band-aid or temporary solutions, transform your energy out of unconsciousness and limitation and into authenticity, inspiration and presence.

Questions to ask yourself – are you leading from unconsciousness?

Do you sometimes blame other people (staff, clients, competitors) for the situation that you are in?
Are you caught in financial worries?
Do you feel that you are not yet capable, experienced, talented, resourced up, knowledgable, successful, masterful enough to live your purpose? (This is what I call Resistant Leadership)
Do you feel that you will be capable, experienced, talented, resourced up, knowledgable, successful and masterful when you have achieved your goals? (This is what I call Attached Leadership)
Have you achieved the goals that you set out and still don’t feel capable, experienced, talented, resourced up, knowledgable, successful and masterful?
Are you sometimes despondent and exhausted as your business feels like a never ending race?
Do you spend a lot of time and energy thinking and planning about what you can do to achieve your goals?
Do you compare yourself against others?
Do you discount or give away more than you need to as a regular strategy to secure business?
Are worry, disappointment, stress, frustration, anger and resignation part of your experience?
