It's a 2 way interaction - she doesn't just listen & feedback what you say in different words. She also brings her own wisdom and current self-reflections to the process which ensures it’s an exchange in which there is equal vulnerability and openness to new awareness. You are not ‘the person with the problem’, you are a person with the same goals and capacities for growth as the person you’re talking to. She creates an environment where the language of intuition and sensing is the core content, not the throw away line at the end of the discussion.
The ‘work’ (which doesn’t feel like work) has had an enormous impact in such a short period of time – it has allowed me to fully embrace & consolidate the change I sought far more quickly. I’ve seen my world through different eyes, with a different perspective, which has brought about real change in my choices & behaviours. I’ve recognised habitual behaviours that create the problems I struggle with. Even after 1 session, the reflections Gisele provided allowed me to re-think and re-construct my sense of difficult situations to find real solutions that were beyond my expectations. After 2 sessions and in a new and challenging environment, I’ve found myself making fundamentally different decisions than I’ve made before because I’m now aware and in touch with my deeply held values and purpose, which I hadn’t been previously. It’s hard to believe that just having a conversation about your inner, intuitive life in an unconditionally accepting, non-judgemental context can be so powerful in empowering a shift to make real change in thoughts, decisions and behaviour.
I had previously thought of this approach and work as somewhat selfish and self-indulgent. After all, it was all about me. But since learning to listen to myself much more, I feel I have much more clarity, compassion, time and energy for others and the world. I exist in a deep and complex way, therefore I can accept & embrace the existence of others in all their depth & complexity. This has brought a great sense of compassion & awareness of how others might see the world quite fundamentally different way in a very short period of time.
I feel fundamentally safe in the world and in my own self, even when there is temporary chaos or uncertainty in either, as I know I can refer to my inner, intuitive response with confidence as a way of making sense of my experience. This sense of safety allows me to stop, reflect, assess what course of action is needed with reference to all the information that I have and listen to my intuitive response – it allows the space for me to be mindful. I feel so much more empowered and able to take full responsibility for my actions & decisions. I then actually live in my life with love & wisdom. |
